My go-to when it comes to alcoholic drinks is Deschutes Inversion IPA. A pretty fantastic beer.

Just wait until tomorrow. The sugar content in that $hit will lead to a lovely hangover.
Favorite Drink Right Now:
Ballast Point: Victory At Sea. I’ve never had such a stout beer that so smooth that tastes so much like coffee. It’s probably one of the most complex beers I’ve ever had in my life. However, this stuff is super rich, I can only have maybe 1 or 2 before switching to something lighter.
Give it a go.

In the .5 liter can. In my opinion, it is the perfect size for a serving of beer, but you have to have a glass big enough to pour the whole thing into. This isn’t my favorite, but it’s what is readily available. The similarly packaged Bitburger Pils is my favorite.

My brother got me the Buffalo Trace White Dog (un–aged) bourbon for my birthday. I don’t know how easy it is to find (he lives in Louisville so bourbon is everywhere), but it was a pretty neat change of pace. It would probably be an interesting drink for someone who knows the aged product well.

That's awesome, I haven't tried that one as most of the different varieties they have are impossible to find here in NY. Matt Farah toured their distillery last month and it made me super jealous. You've got a great bro!

I will have to try and find this. Virgils is my go to fancy root beer.

Either scotch or the High Life

It depends how close to NY you are. Although you maybe able to order it online sometime. I like to try root beer from breweries when ever I go places. Local stuff I’ve found often tastes better than national root beers.

Right now, it’s Deep Eddy lemon vodka mixed with orange/pineapple juice.

Haha he has his moments. I haven’t been to the Buffalo trace distillery, although my brother has. I did the Woodford Reserve tour the last time I was down there though, and that one was phenomenal.

My favorite is bourbon and coke but this is what I am drinking right now. Ignore the Southern Frat koozie and potato pic.

That’s like asking favorite movie or novel or song.
Gin and Tonic (Seagrams or Gilbey’s with Canada Dry Tonic)
Mill St. Bewery’s Stock Ale
25+ year old Crown Royal (and I say this as a non-fan of scotch/whiskey)
Pina Colada when in the tropics (ideally with Bajan or Jamaican rum)
Beaujolais wine

Single malt Scotch, preferably Islay or Speyside. A well-made classic cocktail. Certain French, Spanish, and PNW red wines. A New Zealand Sauvignon blanc with the right fish. A nice amber ale or bitter beer. A cheap beer outside on a hot day. They all have their place.
Once when I was about 15 and desperate, I got drunk on Mike’s Hard Lemonade. That took care of sugar-flavored malt beverages for me once and for all. I hope that you, too, start trying other things until you find something worth drinking.

A smoky, peaty scotch (e.g. Ardbeg or Coal Isla)
Lone Star beer.
People’s Pint Oatmeal Stout (Western Mass brewery, not sure how far away you can get it).

I have a bad experiance with bourbon. A really, really bad experiance with bourbon. Like waking up in my own throw up and giving up drinking for a month kind of experiance. The smell of bourbon makes me nauseous now.

Woodford Reserve is great too, a lot of fine dining restaurants carry it here. It's a bit more expensive than BT when buying it for personal consumption.

Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. Not very strong so you’d have to drink a whole lot to get a buzz I think it’s only 3% but it sure is tasty and refreshing.

Whoa really? It’s one of the only liquors to not give me a hangover and I always know how drunk I am getting, versus the fruity stuff that just makes me sober> sober> sober> buzzed> damn the fucking room is spinning. I hate that.

Yeah I like Woodford quite a bit. Fortunately I got three bottles of it for my birthday so I’m set on bourbon for a while haha. My dad is a fan of Evan Williams, but he drinks one of their more aged varieties, not the basic 5 year they mostly sell.

Went camping with a bunch of friends a few weeks ago, one of the guys had brought along his own personal stash of strawberitas. As people gave him shit about it he replied with “yea it’s my guilty pleasure... hands off! haha. A little sweet for my taste though.
I’m a pilsner guy if I’m not “drinking” and an IPA/Whiskey guy if I am.
